The Problem

Our client loaned hundreds of thousands of dollars to another company. The debtor had signed a promissory note promising repayment.

Our Approach

We brought an action for payment, which was defended by the debtor company. We then brought a summary judgment motion, seeking a disposition of the issues without the need for a full trial.

The Result

We were successful in obtaining judgment for our client for the full amount owing, as well as interest and costs.
