April 6, 2023 marked the 40th anniversary of Ed’s walk across a stage to join the ranks of barristers and solicitors in the Province of Ontario. That occasion marked the culmination of a considerable amount of hard work and achievement, as well as the beginning of Ed’s great adventure in the practice of law.
Ed can be justly proud and satisfied with his achievements over his first 40 years! Among other things, he is a Past President of the Ontario Bar Association, designated by the Law Society of Ontario as a Certified Specialist in Civil Litigation, a published author of several legal texts that continue to be used by practitioners, a respected authority in the area of assessment of legal accounts, a Small Claims Court judge, an effective mediator, a mentor to many aspiring young litigators, a trusted advisor to many clients, a volunteer director or past director of numerous professional and community organizations, a daiquiri maker extraordinaire and – on top of all that – a distinguished Lawrences partner!
We are proud of Ed’s achievements, and are very pleased to be part of his adventure in the practice of law.
