The Transfer/Deed of Land, which is the document that transfers title of the property to your name, must be registered before you receive the keys. The electronic registration system and most Land Registry Offices are open for registrations between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. When you get your keys will depend upon a number of factors. If you have arranged a mortgage to fund your purchase transaction, we will have to wait for the mortgage money to be advanced from the bank. If you are selling your house on the same day and will use some of the sale proceeds to buy, we will have to wait for your sale to close.
